2001
ALGONTEC S.L. was created in July 2001 as a scission of the blow moulding activity of the company Celulosa Fabril, S.A. CEFA. This is why Algontec's experience in blow moulding dates back to the end of the 60s, when CEFA still manufactured small bottles for cosmetics, watering cans for gardening and its first pipes and tanks for the automobile industry.

2008
ALGONTEC expands with the launch of ALGONTEC POLSKA in Poland. The new company complements the activity of the matrix in a strategic position to provide coverage for customers across Europe.

2010
As a result of the expansion in the European market, 26.5% of vehicles sold in Europe include parts manufactured by ALGONTEC. This fact provides a good indicator about company’s importance in the international arena.
